PURPOSE:To reduce torque by dividing a clutch hub into two parts, and disposing cam mechanisms for changing some of torsional torque into force for pressing a pressure plate to the clutch disconnection side through the sub-hub at a coupling portion of both parts. CONSTITUTION:A clutch hub 15 is axially divided into two parts, a main hub 17 and a sub-hub 18. Two clutch plates 13 are supported on the main hub 17, and the other clutch plates 13 are supported on the sub-hub 18. Cam mechanisms 20, 21 are adapted to change some of torsional torque in the turning direction of the main hub 7 to the sub-hub 18 into force for pressing a pressure plate to the clutch disconnection side through the sub-hub, so that the clutch capacity is automatically lowered to reduce torque applied from the spindle side to the engine side. |
