PURPOSE:To detect the ratio of tin and lead, by inserting a ceramic float having a truncated cone shape, wherein one end of a cylindrical shape is a truncated part, in the bearing of a disc shaped ceramic unit main body and floating the same in a solder tank. CONSTITUTION:A thin support frame 2 made of stainless steel is attached to a disc shaped unit main body 1 made of ceramic (specific gravity 3). A ceramic float 3-a, wherein the lower end of a cylinder is molded into a truncated cone shape, is inserted in the bearing of the main body 1 and the upper part thereof is screwed in a float 3-b made of stainless steel and fixed thereto by a screw 4. After a bearing metal fitting 5 was inserted in the bearing, the float 3-b is fixed to a support frame 2 by a screw 7 and further clamped by a screw 8 while a magnet 6 is attached to the upper part of the float. At last, a plate 10 having a magnetoelectricity converter element 9 attached thereto is fixed to the upper part of the support frame 2 by a screw 11. This sensor is floated in a solder tank and the sinking depth of the float is measured by the element 9 to detect specific gravity and the ratio of tin and lead. |
