PURPOSE:To make it possible to positively perform the discrimination of detection signals, by setting markers in a horizontal direction and a depth direction and displaying the marker coinciding with the detection signal calculated from an ultrasonic wave reflected signal on a display picture. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic wave reflected signals arriving from wide range directions are received by using scanning sonar to successively perform operation for calculating the detection signals of an underwater state with the movement of a ship and the ultrasonic wave reflected signals at a present position are subjected to A/D conversion to be stored in memory. A marker setting means for setting a proper marker to a horizontal or depth direction is provided. The memory content of the memory is read and a detection signals are compared with the marker of the marker setting means when detection signals 0, 1 at a plurality of positions are simultaneously displayed to simultaneously display a corresponding marker m0 or m1. |
