<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory printed image free from printing density irregularity or trailing phenomenon by saturating the effect of accumulated heat under such a design as to stop a heating resistor 1 alternately per single line printing. CONSTITUTION:First and second heating resistor arrays 31a and 31b have one heating resistor respectively against each drive bit of a driver IC and are connected to the first and second common electrodes 32a and 32b. Strobe signals C1, C2 are applied to the base for switching transistors 33a, 33b, operating at 'H' level and 'L' level alternately. If the strobe signal C1 operates at 'H' level and the strobe signal C2 at 'L' level, the first heating resistor array 31a is energized and heats up for an output of a logic product gate 30c which is equal to 'L' level bits. On the contrary, the first heating resistor array 31a is not energized and does not heat for an output of the logic product gate 30c which is equal to 'H' level bits. If a single line printing is finished, the strobe signal C1 is switched to 'L' level and the strobe signal C2 to 'H' level.</p> |
