PURPOSE:To markedly reduce the pressure loss and permit the use in a straight tube system by installing a guide for switching a valve piece between the accommodation posture and the valve closing posture, accompanied by the transfer nearly at the valve closing position. CONSTITUTION:During the valve closing operation in which a valve piece 5 is shifted towards a valve box side seat 6, said valve piece 5 is swung and direction-changed into the valve closing posture nearly crossing at right angles to the center axis core P1 in a flow passage, accompanied by the transfer of the valve piece by the guide action of a guide 8, and the valve piece 5 is set onto the valve box side seat 6. During the valve opening operation for separat ing the valve piece 5 from the valve box side seat 6, the valve piece 5 is swung and direction-changed from the value closing posture to the accommodation posture nearly crossing at right angles to the direction P2 of advance and retreat of a valve rod 2, accompanied by the transfer of the valve piece by the guiding action of the guide 8. |
