A semiconductor radiation detector, e.g. of lithium compensated germanium or silicon, is fixed in an air-tight housing contg. a vacuum in contact with the cryostatic cold source. To maintain the vacuum, a flexible piece part, e.g. with a bellows section, is used which is mechanically and thermally insulated from the housing as a part of the feedthrough system for the terminating lead. |
