<p>Manually operable knitting device has a frame provided with clips and supports for locating a pair of vertical rods which carry knitted loops and which at their upper ends are provided with open-ended axial slots in which may be located selectively needles. Each needle is provided with a pair of eyelets one at the tip and one intermediate its length, the eyelets being disposed on diametrally opposite side of the rods, when in their operative positions. Supporting frame is provided with a number of slots in which are located the needles. Different needles may be threaded with different coloured yarns to knit desired patterns. Frame instead of having a linear row of slot may be circular and the slots may be arranged along the circular periphery for hose knitting. Selection or omission of slots provides for variation of patterns.</p> |
