<p>PURPOSE:To satify the drive feeling of a vehicle, by issuing a signal for instructing the engagement of a clutch when the rotational speed of an input shaft coincedes with that of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:Rotational speed sensors 154, 160 are provided to clutch input and output shafts 18, 22, respectively. Further, outputs from these sensors 154, 160 are delivered to an ECU 80 which delivers a signal for instructing the engagement of a clutch, to a clutch actuator 32 when the rotational speed of the input shaft coincides with that of the output shaft. With this arrangement the clutch input shaft 18 is coupled with the output shaft 22 when the rotational speed of the former coincides with that of the latter upon shift-down of the speed change gear. Thereby, it is possible to eliminate shocks generated upon shift-down of the speed change gear, thereby the drive feeling of the vehicle may be satisfied.</p> |
