<p>PURPOSE:To make the offsets of the height and width dimensions of a rolling stock at the outlet side of a final stand to be zero, by performing rolling by means of an optimal integral regulator wherein the number of revolutions of roll and the gap between rolls are variables, in continuous rolling of a wire rod and a steel bar. CONSTITUTION:The height and width of a rolling stock at the outlet side of a final stand are controlled by means of a multivariable control, wherein the state vector feedback of an optimal input makes an evaluation function minimum, by using an equation of rolling state, consisting of deformation, load and temperature, wherein the number of revolutions of roll and the gap between rolls are variables. In this way, the tension of rolling stock is controlled to an offset=0 in a short setting time, and the height and width of stock at the outlet side of a finishing stand are also controlled to an offset=0.</p> |
