PURPOSE:To raise the operability of an electronic typewriter by using a system to select whether the content of a text once stored is displayered and printed at left and right margins when stored or displayed and printed within the left and right margins set at present. CONSTITUTION:When a text has data, whether the text is processed at the present left and right margins or at left and right margins when registered is selected. The selection is displayed on a displayer 3 in terms of which to select by input from a keyboard 2. When the present left and right margins are selected, the content of the text is displayed on and compiled in the displayer 3. When the left and right margins when registered are selected, the margin when registered is set up in a step 20, a pen is moved to the left margin when registered, and the content of the text when registered is printed in the same type even if the pen is on any position at present. When the text print key 7 is operated, printing is performed at the margin selected. When the text input key 4 is operated again, the text mode is ended. |
