PURPOSE:To form both-side copies in the same direction with simple constitution by providing an optical means which forms the original image changed in direction by 180 deg. with respect to the original formed in the stage of forward scanning for exposing on the surface of a photosensitive drum in the stage of backward scanning for exposing. CONSTITUTION:The ray corresponding to the original image reflected by a mirror 10 is reflected twice by the mirrors 14a, 14b of a crossed mirror 14 and is inverted 180 deg. in the right and left directions; thereafter, the ray is further reflected by an inverting mirror 15, by which the ray is inverted 180 deg. in the front and rear directions and arrives at an imaging part 13. The direction of the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the photosensitive body 12 rotating toward an arrow 19 is the direction inverted transversely and longitudinally by 180 deg. with respect to the direction of the electrostatic latent image in the forward scanning for exposing obtd. by the reflection from the mirror 11. The scanning direction for exposing to the original 1 by a forward and backward scanning means 5 for exposing is reverse in the front and rear with respect to the forward direction and eventually the electrostatic latent image of the correct direction with respect to the direction of the copying paper supplied from a resist roller 16 is formed on the surface of the photosensitive body 12. Both-side copying are thus formed in the same direction with the simple constitution. |
