PURPOSE:To devise a structure for opening and closing a controlling valve to ensure the fully closing condition of the controlling valve within low speed rotation range in intake paths of two cylinders communicating to each other through a communicating path in which is interposed the controlling valve opened as the rotational speed of an engine increases. CONSTITUTION:Cylinders 1a, 1b in a V-engine mounted on a motor cycle are connected to intake paths 6a, 6b and exhaust paths 7a, 7b, the intake paths 6a, 6b communicating to each other at the downstream side of throttle valves 8a, 8b through a communicating 9. In the communicating path 9 is interposed a controlling valve10 operatively reversibly opened and closed between the full closing point and full opening point by a reversible motor 12 through a wire 11. Then, a pulley 16 is fixed between bearings 14, 15 for journalling a rotary shaft 13 of the controlling valve 10, and one end of a spring 17 engages this pulley 16 and the other end engages the bearing 14 to urge the controlling valve 10 in the direction of closing the valve. And the wire 11 is trained over the pulley 16 having a stopper 21 for regulating the full closing point. |
