PURPOSE:To automatically forward newspaper correctly, quickly and in a small number of persons by reading information such as a store code disposed on a delivery box and processing the information by a computer in a system for forwarding newspaper folded by fixed pitches. CONSTITUTION:Withdrawn delivery boxes 17, 22 are carried in through a conveyer 24, the codes of the delivery boxes are read 28 on a sorting conveyer 26 to be input to a computer, and the delivery boxes are sorted into 17 and 22 and distributed to the respective conveyers 29, 30. The respective codes of the delivery boxes 17, 22 are read 31, 32 to be input to the computer, and according to the data from the computer, partial lots of newspapers Fa, Fb are stored in the boxes and controlled. On the other hand, the standard sheal Sn of newspaper stacked at a heap portion 5 through a main conveyer 1 and a branch conveyer 1a is packed up by a packing machine 7 to be formed into a package, which is loaded on a transport car 11. Thus, the delivery boxes are controlled by reading the display data of the delivery boxes to reduce manpower. |
