PURPOSE:To eliminate building of a rubble-mound and a laying work for a scouring preventing sheet, by a method wherein scouring preventing plate members, brought into contact with a sea bottom ground, are projected in a horizontal direction from both ends of the seating bottom of a ship hull caisson. CONSTITUTION:In a shop, a scouring preventing plate 10, made of steel, is secured in a horizontal direction to the lower end of each of both end plates 13 of a bottom plate 12 of a ship hull caisson 3, and rib plates 11, serving to reinforced the scouring preventing plate 10, are mounted at proper intervals. The ship hull caisson 3 is seated directly on a sea bottom ground 1, and the interior is filled with filling sand 4 to build a break water. This, since the scouring preventing plates 10 are mounted to the ship hull caisson, enables elimination of a laying work for a scouring preventing sheet, and permits reduc tion of a cost. |
