<p>PURPOSE:To enable various type of folding with correspondence to the input paper size by selecting a gate member to guide the paper exited from first and second rollers to paper fold guide path or a carry path having no lateral folding while selecting a register. CONSTITUTION:Upon detection of paper through a sensor 386 under A2 folding into four mode, the paper will pass through a gate click 324 then between lateral folding rollers 318, 320 and 320, 322 to go to second carry path and bent upon collision against a fixed register 346 to be folded into two between the rollers 322, 324 and fed from a roller 374 to punch unit 400. Similarly, B3 paper is folded into four through a register 362, A3 paper is folded into two by a register 360, B4 paper is folded into two by a register 358, A2 paper is folded into JIS by a register 342, A3 paper is folded into JIS by a register 338, B3 paper is folded into JIS by registers 340, 362 and B4 paper is folded into JIS by registers 336, 358. While under no lateral folding mode, the gate clicks 324, 350 are set to be pass-through position.</p> |
