PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process of a floating film head having a high output with no deterioration of a core produced when a magnetic core part is formed, by having a wound-rotor coil and giving a winding processing cut corresponding to a winding groove to a slider. CONSTITUTION:An Al2O3 film 13 is vapor-deposited on a patterned 'Sendust(R)' film 12 and flattened for production of a magnetic core half of one side, and a gap spacer 14 made of SiO2 and the glass of a low melting point is provided on the film 13. When a magnetic core half of the other side is produced, a winding groove 16 is formed by a dicing process to a nonmagnetic substrate 15 as a hole for winding a coil. Then a 'Sendust(R)' film 17 is formed on the substrate 15 and annealed, and a gap spacer 18 made of SiO2 and the glass of a low melting point is provided on the film 17. A pair of such magnetic core halves are joined together by a heating pressure junction process. Then the counter surface A is polished and a slider groove 20 is formed with 200mum thickness measured from the surface A together with a winding processing cut 21 with 600mum thickness from the surface A respectively. |
