PURPOSE:To quickly heat the surface of the cover for a heating unit and prevent the escape of heat by forming the heating unit so that a metal layer, heat melting resin layer, heat insulating reinforcement layer, heating element, and the metal layer can sequentially be laminated from a steering wheel body toward the cover and sequentially be secured. CONSTITUTION:The external circumference of a steering wheel body 10 is covered with a sheet-type heating unit 14 and the external circumference of the heating unit 14 is covered with a cover 15. The heating unit 14 combined with the steering wheel body allows a heating element 17 to tightly adhere to the inner surface of a metal layer 16 and the heating element 17 and the metal layer 16 are deposited thermally. In addition, since much more heat is transferred to the cover 15 with regard to the heat transfer between the metal layer 16 and heat element 17, a heat insulating reinforcement layer 19 such as urethane foam is provided between the heating element 17 and metal layer 18. |
