PURPOSE:To inhibit induction trouble to an external circuit while miniaturizing a device by forming a thyristor and a protective device to a plate shape, in which two planes function as electrodes, and holding a conductive plate between the electrodes for these thyristor and protective device. CONSTITUTION:With a plate-shaped thyristor 11 and a plate-shaped protective device 12, these two surfaces function as electrodes. A conductive plate 13 is held between each one electrode connected in common on a circuit consisting of a these thyristor 11 and device 12. When surge voltage reaches the thyristor from the control object 5 side in the device, the device 12 absorbs the surge voltage through the conductive plate 13, and the thyristor 11 is protected. The conductive plate 13 is shortened extremely, is not brought close to an external circuit, and has no antenna action, thus having no induction trouble based on a switching surge, etc. on the external circuit. An occupying area can be narrowed by the omission of a connecting conductor, and the device can be miniaturized. |
