PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the weight by composing a converter transformer by butting two sets of U-shaped cores in which windings are wound. CONSTITUTION:An insulating converter transformer used for a magnetic flux control type switching regulator is composed by winding the primary side winding N1 and the secondary side winding N2 on the legs of two U-shaped cores and butting the cores to form an integral bobbin. With this construction, the size and the weight of the transformer can be reduced by reducing the coupling coefficients of the windings N1, N2. |
