PURPOSE:To prevent slipping in a conveyer having selfsupported elastic projections for conveying fragile materials such as a glass sheet or the like by forming the forward ends of the projections by material having a large coefficient of friction. CONSTITUTION:A slat conveyer 2 driven by a chain 1 is provided with a projection group 5 having cylindrical projections 4 formed by material having a large coefficient of friction such as urethane rubber or the like. In this arrangement, a transported article supported by the projection group 5 can be conveyed without slipping, smoothly and in a correct posture. |
