PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition comprising polyphenylene ether resin, specific trans-polybutadiene and hydrogenated product from block copolymer of specific vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and conjugated diene compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) 20-90pts. by wt. of a polyphenylene ether resin, (B) >=0.5pt. by wt. of a resinous trans-polybutadiene with a trans bond content 70-95 (pref. >=85) % and (C) >=0.5pt. by wt. of a hydrogenated product from block copolymer constituted by >=2 elastomeric blocks and >=2 nonelastomeric blocks with the weight ratio of vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon unit to conjugated diene compound unit falling between 10/90 and 55/45 and pref. the unsaturation degree for the elastomeric blocks being <=20% of that before hydrogenation also with either or both terminals being elastomeric block(s) so as to total 100pts. by wt. with the amount of the components (B) plus (C) dropping <=40pts. by wt. |
