<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively utilize the waste heat of an appliance by heating the thermal medium by the heat from the appliances immersed in the thermal medium so as to store hot water in a tank via a heat exchanger immersed in the thermal medium. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 1 is run to actuate a heat pump circuit, the thermal medium 5 is heated by the heat of it as well as the heat from a condenser 3, and the waste heat from the respective sources is accumulated. When a solenoid valve 13 is opened and a pump 10 is driven thereafter, the water in a tank 7 is circulated through a water pipe 9, a heat exchanger 11 and a return pipe 12, and is heated in the heat exchanger 11 by the heat of the thermal medium 5. In this manner, hot water is stored in the tank 7. When a tap 17 is opened, the solenoid valve 13 is closed and the pump 10 is driven to cause the hot water in the tank 7 to be reheated in the heat exchanger 11 and to be discharged from the tap via a hot water pipe 16.</p> |
