PURPOSE:To enhance the grade of a concentrate and to lower the iron component of tailing, by the synergistic effect of the attractive adsorption action of a ferromagnetic field by a DC power source and the instantaneous mutual action by the change in the undulating rotation due to the intake of a proper magnetization curve. CONSTITUTION:A raw ore is carried by a raw ore transfer conveyor 8 to be fallen on a rotary drum 1 from a raw ore supply port 9 and the magnetization curve proper to a magnetic substance is taken in the positive and negative polarity coils 4, 5 of an electromagnetic to supply a DC current. Tailing, a weak magnetic locked ore, a medium strength magnetic iron concentrate and a ferromagnetic iron concentrate are respectively taken out from the falling port 10, 11, 12, 13 and, when the iron component of the raw ore is 45% or less, the gaps between iron cores 6 are opened in proportion to a lowering ratio and coils are additionally wound to facilitate the separation of a useful ore and a gangue as shown by the change of the magnetization curve. |
