PURPOSE:To maintain a stable idling state, by installing a first throttle valve, regulating the output of an internal-combustion engine, at the downstream side of a supercharger as well as installing a second throttle valve, regulating an inflow air quantity to the supercharger, at the upstream side of the latter. CONSTITUTION:A first throttle valve 4 regulating the output of an internal-combustion engine 2 is installed at the downstream side of a supercharger 3, while a second throttle valve 5 regulating an inflow air quantity to the supercharger 3 is installed at the upstream side of the latter. An interconnecting passage 6 interconnecting both upstream and downstream sides of the second throttle valve 5 is installed in a suction passage 2a. The first throttle valve 4 is interlockably interconnected so as to cause the second throttle valve 5 to be adjusted to its full-close position when the valve 4 exists in an idling position. Thus, a stable idling state is maintainable and, what is more, engine efficiency is improved. |
