PURPOSE:To give uniform bearing power by admitting a liquid into a holder and obtaining the bearing power of a mirror by the hydraulic pressure of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:The upper space of a piston 18 for a cylinder 17, a piping 21 and a liquid space 14 between a pressing plate 11 and a holder B13 are filled with a liquid in a liquid tank 23 in order to support a mirror 1, a setscrew for the piston 18 is turned, pressure is applied to the liquid, and uniform pressure is applied to the whole pressing plate 11 by the hydraulic pressure of the liquid, thus giving the whole circumference of the mirror 1 equal bearing power from an 0 ring 4 mounted to the pressing plate 11. Applied pressure given to the liquid is detected by a pressure gage 20 at that time, and hydraulic pressure is kept constant, thus holding bearing power applied to the mirror 1 constant. |
