PURPOSE:To enhance the fixability and the storage stability of a toner by incorporating a thermoplastic resin, copper phthalocyanine, and an inorg. pigment treated with an org. material to form an electrophotographic color toner. CONSTITUTION:The color toner is obtained by mixing the inorg. pigment treated with an org. material obtained by coating the surface of the pigment, such as alumina, barium titanate, or magnesium carbonate, with a resin, the thermoplastic resin, such as a styrene-acrylate copolymer, wax, and the copper phthalocyanine, etc. Since said treated inorg. pigment can well disperse the copper phthalocyanine into the resin, the obtained toner is enhanced in fixability, storage stability, and life stability. |
