<p>PURPOSE:To accelerate the atomization of a catalytic solution, by installing a butterfly valve in the upstream of a catalytic solution injector installed in the upstream of a particulate filter, while connecting an exhaust pressure passage, leading to a catalystic solution tank in the farther upstream. CONSTITUTION:A liquid feed passage 24 connects an injector 16 to a storage tank 22 for a liquid for accelerating combustion of combustible particulates. And, a butterfly valve 32 is installed at the upstream of the injector 16. At the yet more upstream, an exhaust pressure passage 30 to be connected to the storage tank 22 is opened. Therefore, when at least the butterfly valve 32 is closed, exhaust pressure at the upstream side of the butterfly valve 32 is designed so as to act on the storage tank 22.</p> |
