PURPOSE:To obtain a waste toner housing container which obviates toner scattering and can be easily discarded by providing a relatively long and large aperture throat part to the upper part of a toner housing part in the form of having one plane commonly with the toner housing part. CONSTITUTION:The used toner is conveyed by a screw rotating in a rubber pipe 16 and a toner outlet 11 and falls downward through the aperture 11a of a toner outlet so as to be collected into the waste toner container 1. The toner housing container consists of the toner housing part 1e and the throat part 1c projecting long upward. The throat part 1c is made into the shape larger substantially than the aperture of the toner outlet in which the toner falls. The throat part 1c has commonly the one plane 1g which is substantially flush with the one plane 1f forming the part 1e. When the container is rotated with the approximately flush sides 1f, 1g faced downward, the whole toner falls along the plane and there is virtually no toner remaining in the container. |
