PURPOSE:To form a waste toner container so as to be easily mounted in a prescribed position by engaging the 1st contact part provided to the bottom of the housing container and the 2nd contact part provided to the mounting part with each other. CONSTITUTION:The container 1 is pushed by a front door 100 when the door 100 is closed. The slope (1st contact part) 1b on the bottom surface of the vessel is at the front edge of the slope (2nd contact face) 2a of a run-over plate and tends to engage with the 1st contact part by the own weight of a bottle and the force of a leaf spring 7 to push downward the container, by which the two contact parts are engaged and set automatically in the normal position. The lateral position of the container 1 is controlled by the width of the run-over plate 2, the width of the recess in the lower part of the vessel 1 or the width of the port 1c of the container 1 and the width of a waste toner cover 6. |
