PURPOSE:To provide a condensate pump of an economical design by controlling a supplementary small-displacement condensate pump which is placed in parallel to the condensate pump by the signals of an LP bypass valve and a generator circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION:Steam at the outlet of a reheater is fed into a condenser 1 via a low-pressure bypass valve 3. A part of water displaced from the condensate pump can be carried into the condenser 1 via a spray water controlling valve 9. A supplementary small-displacement condensate pump 12 is placed in parallel to the condensate pump 5. The supplementary low-displacement pump can be placed under the starting and interrupting control by an opening and closing signal which is to be fed to an LP bypass valve and an opening signal which is to be fed to a generator circuit breaker. A condensate pump can theren by prevented from overload operation. The condensate pump is therefore be provided as of an economical type. |
