Base part for load pallets, especially for load pallets of the type that comprise two or more base parts, possibly provided with recesses for the forks of a fork lift truck, having a number of holes across their longitudinally divided length and at a short distance from the upper surface of the base parts, through which tubes can be led under slight friction, so that the base parts are joined to one another to form the load pallet. The invention is characterised in that the base part is constructed from a punched and grooved frame 11, which when erected forms at least essential outer surfaces 5, 6, 7, 12 of the base part, and that reinforcing inserts a f, 13-23, 31, 34 are provided in a major part of the remainder of the frame interior, even over the recesses for the fork-lift truck forks, which inserts are joined to the frame. <IMAGE>
