PURPOSE:To improve pressure-resistant strength by sandwiching a pipe material by upper and lower beams via upper and lower keep plates then correcting the dislocation in the butt parts by means of tap bolts. CONSTITUTION:The pipe material 1 which is subjected to preliminary working and cylindrical bending is sandwiched between the upper beam 7 and the lower beam 3 via the upper and lower keep plates 6, 4. The butt parts 2 are centered and are then tightened by a seat 8 and the tap bolts 9. The dislocation between the butt parts 2 is then removed while the tightening degree of the tap bolts 10 screwed at a suitable pitch to the beam 7 is adjusted. The thin-walled long- sized pipe having no dislocation is obtd. by the above-mentioned method and therefore the pressure-resistance strength is improved. |
