PURPOSE:To prevent feeling that warmth is insufficient, by providing a central and a side ventilation blowoff ports in a lower and an upper adjacent positions next to a defrosting and a heating blowoff ports in an air conditioner for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A defrosting blowoff port 5, a heating blowoff port 6 and a ventilation blowoff port 7 are provided in an upper, a lower and an intermediate positions, respectively, at the outlet end of an air passage 1. The ventilation blowoff port 7 comprises a central and a side ventilation blowoff ports 12, 13 located next to the defrosting and the heating blowoff ports 5, 6 and separated from each other by a partition 14. The cross-sectional area of the side ventilation blowoff port 13 is one-third of that of the ventilation blowoff port 7. The blowoff ports 12, 13 can be opened and closed by dampers 16, 17. |
