PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of moisture into a cavity and to improve the quality of an injected product by providing a hole or groove at the proper point of a core sliding surface or die mating face and connecting the same to a vacuum generator for removing the moisture. CONSTITUTION:The hole 18 is provided to the plate such as the sliding part existing to the core 16 of a die 1 and a series of groove parts 17 continuous therewith where outside cooling water or parting material is liable to accumulate in a die casting machine, injection molding machine, etc. The hole 18 is connected via a piping 19 to a tank 20, a solenoid selector valve 21 and the vacuum generator 22. The valve 21 is opened to connect the hole 18 provided to the inside of the die and the generator 22 in the mid-way of setting the core 16 and the die venting device 3 in the prescribed position or at the point of the time when said core and venting device are set. The moisture accumulating in the groove 17 around the core 16 is sucked into the tank 20 when the groove is sucked. Pouring is thereafter executed and the product is injection- molded. |
