PURPOSE:To improve a conveying characteristic for roll paper being carried in and out, by providing a traverser running rail just above a path combining a carrying in and out way while a temporary storage part to a height enabling a truck, mounting the roll paper, to pass through just above the path combining a carrying in and out way. CONSTITUTION:A truck 2, mounting roll paper, is driven running to a position just below a traverser 3, placed in a standby state in the position of a rack row 18 to store the paper, and stopped. Next, a crane 4, transferred into the traverser 3, lifts the roll paper 5 on the truck 2 to be placed on a temporary storage part 8. The traverser 3, being transferred to a position just above the temporary storage part 8, lifts the roll paper 5 on the temporary storage part 8 by the crane 4 to be stored on a predetermined storage rack. An idle time of the truck and the crane is eliminated by providing a crane running rail 17 along the rack row 18 and traverser running rail 7 just above a path 1 combining a carrying in and out way while the temporary storage part 8 just above the path 1 to a height enabling the truck, mounting the roll paper 5, to pass through. |
