<p>Lasting change of shape is imparted to greasy hair by subjecting the hair, in softened state, to the action of at least one antiseborrhoeic cpd. selected from S-subst. derivs. of cysteine and cysteamine. A suitable procedure is to apply the antiseborrhoeic cpd. together with the reducing agent during the first stage of permanent waving; it may also be applied together with the neutralizing agent during the second stage of permanent waving. A further alternative (which does not require a separate fixing stage) is to apply the antiseborrhoeic cpd. together with an organic disulphide and an organic thiol (disulphide: thiol molar ratio >1).</p> |
