PURPOSE:To enable easy shrink fitting of a reinforcing frame integral with X-ray shield by putting corner portions of a reinforcing frame X-ray shield unit on a reinforcing frame receiving means and binding and shrink fitting the reinforcing portion with a constant clearance from an outer periphery of a face. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing frame 1 is put on a reinforcing frame receiving means 6 and a cathode ray tube positioned by rising of a moving up and down means 5 is adsorbed and retained by a pat 5b and a reinforcing frame positioning means 8 is advanced. In this condition, the frame 1 is heated to expand by heat and a reinforcing portion 1a hits a positioning pin 8a to be positioned. Next, the reinforcing portion 1a is positioned by binding an X-ray shield 1b from four sides thereof by the means 7 with a constant clearance from the outer periphery of the face 3 of a tube 3 and the tube 3 for positioning and retaining is lowered by the means 5 in this condition to be disposed in the frame 1 and by striking the face 3a to an upper and lower position determining pin 4a. And the frame 1 is cooled to be installed on the outer periphery of the face 3a, and the means 7, 8 are treated to release binding of the frame 1 and the means 5 is lifted and the tube 3 whose frame 1 is installed is discharged. |
