<p>PURPOSE:To omit a shift register which is necessary for a touch sensor and make a direct display on the liquid-crystal display device of a touch input part by using a scanning-side signal for driving a liquid-crystal display device and a scanning signal for detecting a touch sensor. CONSTITUTION:The scanning electrode driver 71 of the liquid-crystal display device 11 sends a driving pulse to a scanning electrode of the liquid-crystal display device 11 to display a selected point with a signal from a display electrode driver (segment driver) 73. The scanning signal from the scanning electrode driver 71 has a peak periodically, so it is supplied to an X-axial electrode of the touch sensor 51 to detect the timing of the peak, thereby detecting the input position of the touch sensor. An Y-directional scan is made during the peak timing. The output of a detecting circuit 75 is sent to a controller 77 and a display signal is sent from a memory 79 for display to the display electrode driver 73 to display the selected point on the liquid-crystal display device 11.</p> |
