Production of grass in plates or mats, enabling to form lawns by transplantation of plates or bands. It comprises a plastic film deposited on the ground (3), a culture medium comprised of sugar cane foam or cake (4) in pure condition or mixed with waste from the production cycle of sugar cane, containing grass grains or rhizomes (4) and of a plastic mesh net (6) held to the ground by means of various means such as wooden bars, stones, etc. Amongst the most interesting applications of the invention, it may be mentioned the rapid formation of lawns by transplantation of grass plates. |
