PURPOSE:To improve noise characteristics and heat exchanging performance by a method wherein notches are provided near the end face at the downstream side of air stream in the group of fins and the notches are risen up with a predetermined angle into a predetermined direction. CONSTITUTION:The fin 13 is made by providing a notch on the group 11 of fins and rising it up into the direction of neighboring fin. The fin 13 is risen up with the angle of theta1 with respect to the main flow direction of air and the angle of theta with respect to the surface of the group of the fin. The air, sucked from the direction D, is guided to the direction E by the fin 13. The fin 13 is arranged at the rear position of a heat transfer tube 12, inserted orthogonally to the group of fin, and whereby the fin in a dead water area, in which the heat transfer performance is bad conventionally, may be utilized effectively for changing the direction of air stream. According to this method, it becomes hard to generate vortex after the air is passing through the heat exchanger, the noise characteristics may be improved remarkably and the heat transfer tubes may be utilized effectively. |
