PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic sensitive material superior in sensitivity, storage stability with time lapse, etc., by incorporating specified monodispersed silver halide grains having [100] and [111] faces and an org. solvent having a dielectric constant not exceeding a specified value and high b.p., and a specified compd. in an emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one silver halide emulsion layer contains the monodispersed silver halide grains having a [100] face and a [111] face, and a ratio K of X-ray diffraction intensity F1 belonging to a [200] face/that F2 belonging to a face [222], that is, K=F1/F2, satisfying the following inequality, 3<=K<=600, and the high-b.p. org. solvent having a dielectric constant of <6.0, and further, a compd. represented by formula I in which each of R1-R3 is H, halogen, or the like; each of A1-A3 is N or a group of formula II; R4 is same as R1; each of X1, X2 is OH or -NR5R6; each of R5, R6 is H, alkyl, aryl, or the like, or each may combine with each other to form a ring, or one or more of (R1-R4), and one or more of (R5 and R6) may combine with each other to form a ring; and each of n1-n3 is 0-3. As a result, the photosensitive material superior in sensitivity and storage stability can be obtained. |
