The tool comprises a tension jack 1 connecting a first clevis 2 and a second clevis 3. The first clevis 2 fits on to an upper bracket of the pylon by means of a bolt 7 and nut 8. Threaded rods 13, 14, sliding inside tubes 11, 12 attached to the second clevis 3, support a cable resting plate 19 at an adjustable height. The jack 1 is a hydraulic jack operated by a pump 22 and a safety valve 25. <IMAGE>
