PURPOSE:To permit to change the pressure of an evaporator easily within a wide range by a method wherein a liquid receiving vessel is provided with a pressure regulating mechanism while a re-circulating pipe is provided with a non-return valve. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat pipes 12 are connected in parallel separately to the liquid receiving vessel 10, serving as a reservoir, in which refrigerant is reserved to a predetermined level in the condition of liquid. Slanted section 12A, lowered gradually from the liquid receiving vessel 10, is formed near the connecting section of the heat pipe 12 and the vessel 10. The refrigerant deprives heat from an objective to be cooled during advancing into an arrow sign direction A in the diagram and is evaporated. The pressure control valves 23 are mounted on respective heat pipes 12. Pressures in the vessels 18 of respective heat pipes 12 can be controlled independently to any pressure by controlling the opening degree of the pressure control valves 23. A condenser 30 is connected through the re-circulating pipe 25. Further, the re-circulating pipe 40 between the outlet side of the condenser and the liquid receiving vessel 10 is provided with the non-return valve 53. |
