PRODUCTION OF ADDITIVE WIRE FOR IMPROVING PROPERTY OF METAL

PURPOSE:To produce an additive wire which has a high ratio of the additive to a metallic pipe and deteriorates in properties to the smaller extent in the stage of producing the additive wire packed with the powdery additive for improving the properties of metals by packing the powdery additive into the metallic pipe then drawing the metallic pipe. CONSTITUTION:The powdery additive for improving properties is packed into the steel pipe and the pipe is drawn by a device such as hole die or roller die and is worked to the wire shape in the stage of producing the additive wire for adding the powdery additive to the molten metal in order to improve the properties of various metals. The ratio of the weight of the powdery additive is larger than the weight of the steel pipe on the outside and since the outside is the seamless steel pipe, the additive wire having no possibility of deterioration in properties owing to the intrusion of moisture is produced.
