PURPOSE:To enhance the removability of defectives of a feeder for small size resistor elements having caps at both ends thereof, by forming, in the gate passage of the feeder, a groove which may pass therethrough the body of the resistor element alone and an aperture which may pass therethrough the cap alone. CONSTITUTION:A resistor element A enters into the passage 5 of a gate 3 from one end thereof, and travels through the passage 5 in which there are formed a groove having a width wider than the width M1 of the body B of the resistor element A but less than the diameter M2 of the caps C of the element A, and an aperture 8 having a diameter larger than the diameter M2 of the cap C. Accordingly, if the element A attached at both ends thereof with the caps, this element A may pass above the groove without hindrance. However, if the element A has no caps at its both ends, that is if it has the body B alone, the body B drops through the groove 7. Further, the if the element A has only one cap attached at one end thereof, the element 8 can pass the groove 7 being suspended therefrom but drops through the aperture 5. Further, if it is the cap C alone, it drops through the aperture 8. Accordingly, complete conforming articles alone can surely be sorted. |
