PURPOSE:To release a tray bottom plate pressing mechanism and a mechanism for blocking the tray returning to a home position to withdraw the tray located in the paper supply position without any waiting time by withdrawing toward you a withdrawal lever of the tray of a copy paper supply device. CONSTITUTION:When an user draws out a tray 7, and a drawer lever 22 is pulled in the direction G, pins 39, 40 are moved in the direction G together and a cam member 41 is separated to lower a bottom plate 36 in the direction of arrow H. That is, when the pin 39 and the cam member 41 are separated, a stopper preventing the tray 7 from return in the direction of arrow B is drawn out, interlocked with the stroke of said lever 22 and released so that the tray 7 retreats from a paper supply position. Since this retreat of the tray 7 is interlocked with said lever 22 by the pin 40 and groove cam 42, it is synchronized with the operation of drawing said lever 22. After the completion of this retreat of the tray 7 is drawn out the tray 7 to the front of a machine by a claw member provided on a support member 37. |
