The revolver comprises a trigger (2) and a cock (3) acting against a striking spring (4). The movement of the cock (3) is transmitted to rotate a drum locking pawl (14) inside the trigger (2), the pawl (14) having a slit (17) in which an axis bolt (18) locates, the bolt also serving as a pivot for the trigger. A switching bolt (16) is braced against a stop of a switching cam (19) so that the point of contact, the line of action of a locking spring (15) and the axis bolt (18) are in a straight line.
