DEFECT DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To judge on the propriety of an object to be inspected accurately, by arranging a inspector section which outputs a gate output of a gate means as detection result data and an inspector section which outputs a binary data outputted from a comparison means as detection result data. CONSTITUTION:Camera heads 1a and 1b of inspector sections A and B forms an image on an image sensor 2 about the condition of the surface of an object 4 to be inspected with an optical lenses 3a and 3b. The lens 3b at the inspector section B employs a filter lens the same in the color system as the pattern on the surface of the object 4 being inspected. A comparator 5 compares analog data according to the brightness of the image outputted from the sensor 2 with a preset threshold data to make a binary-coded data. An AND gate 9 at the inspector section A ANDs the data memorized in a master pattern memory 8 and a binary-coded data and outputs the AND output as result data for flow detection. The result data at the inspector section B is composed of a binary-coded data. Then, a signal processing is done with precomputers 13a and 13b and a host computer C.
