<p>The coffee machine is provided with a shower (9) connected to a supply line (8) for the supply of hot water or water vapor. Small tubes (12) project regularly from the lower face of the shower head (9). The end (13) of the tubes is tapered. A capsule (7) provided with a cover (19) and containing ground coffee (16) is arranged under the shower head. A perforating flap (10) is arranged under the capsule (7). One of its faces carries regularly distributed conical perforating pins (15). To prepare a cup of coffee, the flap (10) is pivoted so as to pierce the cover (19) of the capsule and is then brought back to its rest position. The shower head (9) is lowered thereby causing the piercing of the capsule bottom by means of the small tubes (12). As soon as the flap (10) is back to its starting position, the contents of the capsule is scalded and dissolved by vapor or the hot water. An individual beverage portion may thus be easily, properly and rapidly prepared. The capsules of ground coffee may be stored during a long time without alteration of the contents and without loosing the aroma.</p> |
