The single and double extension for drawers consists in each case of a carcass rail which is attached to the side wall of the carcass, has a U-shaped profile, forms a running channel, and at whose end lying at the front in the direction of extension a roller is secured rotatably, which roller rolls along the underside of the upper running surface of a frame rail of Z-shaped profile, at whose rear end a roller is secured rotatably, which roller rolls along the upper and lower running surfaces of the running channel of the carcass rail. In order to re-equip a single extension of this type as a full extension, only one central rail of S-shaped profile has to be inserted between the carcass rail and the frame rail, said central rail having a rear roller which rolls along the upper and lower running surface of the running channel of the carcass rail and which, furthermore, has a front roller which runs along the underside of the upper running surface of the frame rail. Furthermore, the central rail has a safeguard against dropping out of the carcass rail perpendicular to the direction of extension. |
